A useful starting point
Define the city, customer need and fulfilment promise before treating India as one acquisition audience.
Audience and market fit
Separate metro, regional and local opportunities using real coverage. Language choices should match the audience and the customer support available after the click.
Channel planning
For ecommerce, include cancellations, returns and cash-on-delivery economics where applicable. For lead generation, agree location, requirement and sales-readiness criteria before counting success.
Conversion and operations
Test mobile journeys under realistic network conditions. Feed sales disposition back into campaign reporting, remove duplicate enquiries and compare regions before increasing budgets.
What to measure
- Qualified appointments
- Return-adjusted contribution
- Accepted B2B opportunities
What your market brief should contain
Share your exact offer, ideal customer, available languages, service coverage and existing sales process. Include evidence from earlier campaigns and the conversion you want to improve. The brief should identify unresolved launch requirements, not conceal them behind a revenue forecast.
Before launch, agree the baseline, reporting period and decision owner. Review customer quality and fulfilment alongside channel metrics. An inexpensive click or enquiry is not useful when the next step cannot be delivered.
Should we launch nationwide first?
Only when fulfilment and support can sustain that coverage. A focused region or customer segment often provides clearer evidence.
