A useful starting point
Define the Thai customer segment and fulfilment area before choosing the channel mix. Residents, visitors and cross-border buyers do not share the same journey.
Audience and market fit
Separate a travel booking, a local appointment and a recurring product order. Clarify language, urgency and customer support for each. Mobile pages should make the next step and its conditions immediately understandable.
Channel planning
Assess marketplace commerce and social discovery alongside search demand. Shopee, Lazada and LINE-related journeys may fit particular offers. Validate commercial terms, account access and support workload before committing to a platform.
Conversion and operations
Use locally reviewed Thai copy when needed. Show coverage, delivery restrictions, booking conditions and refund information close to the call to action. Assign incoming messages to an owner rather than leaving them in an unmonitored inbox.
What to measure
- Qualified conversations
- Confirmed bookings
- Approved orders
What your market brief should contain
Share your exact offer, ideal customer, available languages, service coverage and existing sales process. Include evidence from earlier campaigns and the conversion you want to improve. The brief should identify unresolved launch requirements, not conceal them behind a revenue forecast.
Before launch, agree the baseline, reporting period and decision owner. Review customer quality and fulfilment alongside channel metrics. An inexpensive click or enquiry is not useful when the next step cannot be delivered.
Can tourists and residents share one campaign?
Separate messaging and reporting usually make their different needs easier to interpret. Start with distinct audience hypotheses.
